The IR2 detector is designed to provide early warning of flaming fires emitting IR radiation. It is equipped with an integrated, automatic monitoring facility for vision impairment. It requires air supply in order to avoid vision impairment.

It is designed for industrial fire protection equipment such as powder booths.
