Hygienic systems

In certain industries (pharmaceutical industry, production of baby food) very high standards are set concerning hygiene.

However: in such factories too, there are regularly explosion risks and constructive protection may be necessary. But the components of most protection systems do not come up to these high hygienic requirements. There is one exception: the hygienic systems developed by StuvEx.

Responsible hygienic systems

Hygienic systems usually require a specific choice of materials and design.

Solid materials

The correct choice of materials is important to prevent dangerous particles from ending up in the product. It also prevents bacterial hotbeds to be formed. But the materials also have to be suitable for frequent cleaning with hot water under high pressure, whether or not combined with various detergents and solvents.

For this reason, in most cases we work exclusively with very high quality stainless steels, combined with very specific seals.

Carefully considered design

The design is important, too. The material must be smooth, without any edges or cracks in which deposits could be left behind or in which bacteria could develop.

StuvEx has a number of components at its disposal that comply with these severe standards. Bursting discs, fast shutting gate valves(FSGV), extinguishing agent bottles,...  All parts that come into touch with the product, are perfectly executed for hygienic systems.
